Fire Sprinkler

The entire WYSO Center is protected by a sprinkler system, including the covered driveway area. This system was installed and is serviced by Nelson Fire Protection Company from Rockford, IL. The system has two distinct components: a dry system that protects the driveway and a wet system that covers interior spaces. The main header for the fire suppression equipment is in Room 128.

There are risers in Stairwell B that can isolate and drain the sprinkler system for each floor. Annual inspections should be scheduled before December.

A second fire suppression system is in place for the range hood in the Break Support room. The range hood system was installed by CertaSite. The system is also inspected and serviced by CertaSite. Inspections are required semi-annually and are scheduled by the CertaSite tech.
